Texas State University is providing a 1-hour webinar.
In 2020, the Hubble Space Telescope achieves its 30th year in orbit. Hubble’s unique design, allowing it to be repaired and upgraded with advanced technology by astronauts, has made it one of NASA’s longest-living and most valuable observatories, beaming transformational astronomical images to Earth for decades. Hubble has fundamentally changed our understanding of the cosmos. Learn about the Hubble space telescope, Electromagnetic Radiation from space and our cosmic connection to the elements.

 
 
 

Sara Garcia-Torres currently serves as an EPD Specialist at NASA Ames Research Center. She works with educators, families, and community members to support STEM efforts. Her research interests include STEM education. She holds degrees from TSU (MEd), and UTSA (BA). Sara is also pursuing PhD studies at Texas State University.
