Educators in Grades K-12
The NASA Educator Professional Development Collaborative at
Texas State University is providing a 1-hour webinar.

Telescopes are our window into the solar system. They have helped us refine our models of the solar system – about how solar system has evolved to support life. They are also NASA’s Exoplanet Hunters and have gathered critical insights into other solar-system-like star-planet formations which may have “habitable” conditions. We will discuss multiple inquiry-based activities related to telescopes covering math and optics concepts from NASA’s Great Observatories and Optics educator guides for K-12 classrooms.
